What we collect
- Your name, phone number, email address and company name.
- Your event details. These are the size, date and start time. They also include the days, headcount and venue, whether it is indoors, the event type and your notes.
- How you reached this page. For example, which ad you clicked.
- How you use the page, if you accept cookies.
Why we collect it
We use it to contact you about your event by phone, WhatsApp and email. We also use it to see which of our ads work. We contact you only if you agree on the form. You agree when you tap Next after your details. You agree again with the tick box at the end.
What "call, WhatsApp or email me about this" covers
- Calls, WhatsApp messages and emails to plan, quote and book the ice for your event.
- Calls may come from our AI phone assistant instead of a person. It says so at the start of the call. We may record calls for quality and to keep a record of your consent.
- One follow-up call after your event to ask how it went. You can say no at any time.
- Nothing else. We do not add you to newsletters or other marketing unless you ask.
Ads and cookies
We use Google tools to see which ads bring enquiries. If you accept cookies, Google may set cookies on this page. When you send the form, we may share a scrambled (hashed) copy of your email address and phone number with Google to measure our ads. Google cannot read the scrambled copy back into your details. You can say no to cookies on the page at any time.
Who sees it
[company name] and the service providers who run this page for us, including ForwardLine. Our providers include website hosting, a secure database and a messaging service. They may use your information only to provide their service to us. We never sell your information.
Where it is stored
Our database and some providers sit outside South Africa (the United Kingdom, the European Union and the United States). Data protection laws or agreements bind every provider we use. They give protection similar to POPIA.
How long we keep it
Only as long as we need it for your event or as the law requires. Ask us and we delete it.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your information at any time. To stop all contact, reply "stop" to any message. You can also tell us on any call or contact us below. You can complain to the Information Regulator (inforegulator.org.za).
